Until management honors their reservations and respects their customers I would not make reservations at The Last Resort. I would like to hear how they plan to make this right?
I love the last resort!! Very friendly family run business that tries their best to accommodate everyone. The food at the restaurant is great! And the store has everything you could need that you may have forgotten. Highly recommend !!
Can't believe you'd cancel a reservation made back in February! Terrible service. Can't rely on these guys to honor their word at all!
Reservations mean nothing to this establishment. Son in law made reservations for a weekend September back in February of this year, and the owner just called and cancelled his reservation because he had an opportunity to rent all rooms to one party. So if you reserve a room do so with the knowledge you could be dumped at owners discretion.
No integrity. These people cancel your reservations made far in advance so they can accept a higher bid at the last minute, leaving those who plan in advance in a big pickle. Terrible customer service and should be reported to the BBB.
I have a running race coming up in September and The Last Resort is nearest lodging. I called and made a reservation for 1 room on February 28th the same day I signed up for the event because I knew that as the race got closer these rooms would be in high demand. The manager called me today on 8/27/18 and said they took another persons reservation that booked all 12 of their rooms and that I would no longer have a room for the dates I previously reserved. It is very very clean.....just a short drive to the Lake. And we love hanging out back with our group on the nice green grass. And a BIG THANKS TO THE CLEANING STAFF.....She goes out of her way to ALWAYS make sure we have everything we need....extra garbage bags.....Never rushes us out of there when it’s time to check out....Just a GREAT PLACE to relax. Will be back!!! Thanks again
Always good food. Worth the drive up the valley for sure!
