We were positively surprise by the Lane Retreat! The layout of the rooms make the sunsets from the room breathtaking! The place is beautiful and staff is super friendly. The breakfast was great as well. 100% recommend!!!
Great place to stay for a couple or group of friends. Luxurious villas with a nice relaxed feel and very close to wineries at Pokolbin. An ample breakfast supplied in room.
The Lane Retreat is truly the most beautiful place in Hunter Valley! We stayed here this weekend for our babymoon and were blown away by the hospitality, spotless apartment, and delicious breakfast. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view from our apartment – perfect for enjoying peaceful sunrises and stunning sunsets. And don’t be surprised if you spot a lot of kangaroos around – it’s all part of the magic! Highly recommend this unforgettable escape.

Value for money compared to most other places I've stayed in the Hunter. The Lane Retreat is at the upper end, however the provided breakfasts, the view overlooking the ranges and vineyards, and the ease of a receptionless checkin, makes this the go-to for our future stays.
