Everything is amazing and quiet, Me and my partner had our furst getaway here and as a revisit I proposed out the front on the deck, Was beautiful
This was our second stay at The Lane Retreat, and it’s just as amazing as we remembered. The place is still new, clean, and beautifully maintained. Our villa had stunning views of the lake and mountains—so serene and peaceful. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and catch a gorgeous sunset. Even better, it’s pet-friendly, which makes the experience even more special for us. Can’t wait to be back again.
CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN, GREAT AMENITY After being sent the run around by the Spicers Guesthouse incompetent staff that couldnt take my booking properly, I stumbled across The Lane in an internet search. I loved the contactless check-in, felt quite private & the surroundings are wonderful. Breakfast showcased local produce and was so perfect for the early start I had so I wasnt waiting around for a breakfast bar to start and could sort out at my discretion. We stayed at The lane retreat at the weekend, our room/cabin was full of cockroaches ! , it was disgusting , my mother in law stayed in another cabin and her cabin was also full of cockroaches. The food in the mini bar in our cabin was out of date 6 years ago ! ,the bed sheets were dirty, the staff were not helpful with the matter , we will not be returning and I will not be recommending it to anybody ! Very disappointed! It is definitely not worth the price you pay for it !
Amazing place, clean, relaxing. Great getaway for couples of family. Definitely wanna come back to this place when we're up in Hunter Valley.
