Auf unserem Roadtrip von Sydney nach Cairns hatten wir einen kurzen, aber sehr feinen Zwischenstopp im Hunter Valley – denn: Heißluftballon-Plan stand auf dem Zettel. Perfect place to stay in the hunter. Individual Cabins all face west so u can watch the setting sun over the hills of Pokolbin. Awake to that view but without the glaring sun. We chose to reject daily service of our room and received a nice bottle of red but when we were running low on teabags etc I just rang and they were there. Actually replaced some towels and put our washing up away whilst Restocking our supplies. Nice surprise. I cannot - simply cannot - praise this place highly enough. Modern, homey, spanking clean, perfect location for vingeeeks. Greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine, and stocked breakfast for the two days. Ample, sufficient, perhaps more bottled water would’ve been nice. Fluffy towels, bed amazingly soft, showers oh the SPACIOUS SHOWERS 🚿 💖💘🩷🧡🩵💙💜 plenty strong hot water too. Lovely balcony seating. Yes, you will spot kangaroos in the area.
