They don’t treat there employees with the respect they deserve there very money hungry they will not send the residents out for and correct evaluation so they can be transferred to the right department because they don’t want to miss out on the money and I know because I used to work for them I do not recommend anyone to work for them or send ur love ones to be cared for there

They know him, his non verbal and verbal cues. They care for him, treat him with respect, and know how to roll with his issues. The memory care unit staff is amazingly patient, firm, and consistent. I feel better in my soul knowing the staff. And they have taught me. It touches my heart when I see their interactions with him. They know him.
What a wonderful place. Warm and caring staff...they include everyone.
It is my honor and pleasure working with all the staff at Atria Poughkeepsie that have helped impact the lives of our Veterans' Rowing Club members. Each week I work along side exceptional staff, including Karen, Emma and Tony while getting more than 15-active seniors rowing on WaterRower and getting them to lead a very healthy, active lifestyle. We look forward to breaking some rowing records in the near future!
What an incredible community! My salmon for lunch was perfectly cooked - delicious meal and great service in the restaurant at The Landing of Poughkeepsie!
Absolutely love the residents!! Learning from them and hearing all of their stories is a pleasure. 1 on 1 talks about the wars and how life was in their younger days, hearing about their family traditions, knowing what they did for a living, enjoying seeing their smiles when their families come to visit them and having the honor of being the one to take family pictures of them in our beautiful community.
