Spacious, cable, and phone ready rooms with plenty of outlets for electricity all over this place! Very quiet and safe neighborhood with 2 Protestant churches nearby. Only gave 4 stars because the gas fireplace didn't work and the formica had knife chop marks and paint chips missing in the counter top around the metal sink.
I would like to thank Mark at The Lakes Apartments for putting in the temporary ramp to the laundry room, it is a great help for me. I had knee replacements, a bad back and bad hips and stepping up into the laundry room was difficult and painful. Mark put in a temporary ramp until the permanent one is installed. Thank you Mark, I greatly appreciate your work.
Mediocre apartments, not abjectly terrible but far from worth the exorbitant rates being charged. Loud neighbors and a routinely dirty compound with frequent broken glass, dog droppings and other unsavory litter. Was a great tenant for two years and left the place spotless on move-out (photo proof attatched). Got a letter two days later keeping my $400 deposit and demanding $600 more for various outrageous cleaning fees. Hole in the third story walkway looks to be covered by a sign for pool rules. Maintenance always took way too long to check out issues. When we first moved in the dishwasher was backing up into the sink and fill it up, I was told “that’s just the plumbing here” but managed to fix it with draino myself. Do not rent from this company. I paid a buyout on the lease we had at 1507.50 and they are now charging me 2400 because they said that i didnt pay the lease buyout. They have sent this to collections and im fighting it right now. Don't get scammed.
