the lakes treatment center changed my life! before I came here I didn't know how I was ever going to learn to stop drinking alcohol. didn't know how I was going to live my life sober. they're classes, RA's,and teachers here are hard working people who worked together to help me live a sober life by learning the 12 steps and traditions. they also helped me learn how to have fun without having to be drunk. by doing fun activities like volleyball, basketball, wake surfing, and tubing. The lakes saved my life, my marriage and gave my daughter her father back. I'm glad I chose to go there. The staff are the most caring people I've met and treated me like family. Thank you to everyone at the lakes
My son has been there for 5 weeks, there is no place perfect, but he is getting help and doesn't feel intimidated or uncomfortable. I understand the work that is done in any treatment center is complicated and often met with strong resistance; their job is not easy. So any step forward is appreciated and to imagine the patience and trying times that treatment personnel endure is welcomed by loved ones of the patients in treatment.
if you care about your loved ones do NOT send them here. The reviews are probably all fake. Noone is doing good after getting out. They run the place with kids age 19 or 20 that know nothing. They lie to you about everything and I mean everything. I dont have the time to go into it all but trust me, it is very very very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! horrible food too. ThDinner is often just beans and rice. No breakfast. I dont want to get started. But they will lie to get your money.
This place and the amazing staff has geniuinely saved my life. Im so thankful for Bernadette never giving up on me and teaching me how to love myself. I am beyond grateful for these people and all they have done for me. I love them like they are my own family members. Thankyou for all you have done for me
