About this business
The Lakeview house is an 1850 farm house that has been lovingly restored. Old meets new in the bar area where you can catch the game on one of several flat screen TV's while surrounded by antiques adorning the walls. Meals are made from scratch, and weather permitting, can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio right next to the garden where many of the ingredients for dishes are picked daily. A banquet room upstairs can comfortably hold up to 80 people with lake and mountain vistas as the backdrop.

Mediocre food, I can handle. Service mistakes, I can totally forgive. Waiting over an hour for food, being avoided by our server when things went downhill, a manager never showing up at the table when requested, and then reacting to tracking her down (at the bar, drink in hand) to express dissatisfaction by making excuses and saying, "you can get out" is unacceptable.
Let me me start by saying that I have never been to Lakeview House before and that my particular experience may account for one in a thousand guests. I've also been to restaurants more than a thousand times and never in my life have I been asked to leave. On Mother's Day, 2017 I decided to bring my wife, son and daughter for brunch.
