Our family hosted a memorial service for a loved one at The Lake House last week and it was one of the best experiences despite the mournful nature of the event. The food was delicious, the staff were kind, thoughtful and friendly. They were stellar to work with and the event was a hit. We had a semi-private area with a view of the lake. The service was terrible. We sat on the deck almost directly in front of the waiters station. Received our first round of drinks ok but was completely ignored after that. We had to flag the waitress (Ashley) down every time we wanted something. She forgot the hot water we ordered , never received our food after being there for almost 2 hours. We’ve always loved the Lakehouse. Been frequenting this establishment since we moved to the area last year and brought friends and family anytime they came to visit. It’s always been great. Unfortunately today did not live up to their previous standard.
