fabulous!! – We have been to Lake House several times and have been absolutely thrilled with the delicious food and wonderful service. The spectacular views are a bonus. My only suggestion would be to have more menu selections without mushrooms.
Unprofessionalism! – Our Doctor's office goes here pretty often for Rep dinners. We were planning to go there tonight for another dinner. After a short notice cancellation due to an emergency, the hostess that answered the phone was very unprofessional stating they were going to charge to Rep's credit card even though we were unable to attend. The office was attending dinner with 15 people tonight. We are very unhappy about the professionalism and will no longer be holding Rep Dinners there. Unhappily, SB435
We Love This Place!! – We frequent the Duck Pond Inn often and on Christmas Eve no less and have never been disappointed! The food, service and atmosphere is great, although it does tend to get a bit noisy at times. I guess every restaurant can have an off day at times, in reference to the review "Dining in Slow Motion" but we have never experienced that. Would highly recommend this place, in fact this is where we are having Easter dinner!!
Dining in slow motion – This is a truly cozy and relaxing place to have dinner. The outdoor view of the pond out back is great. But, it took nearly three and a half hours to have dinner. That's how slow the service is here and we went on a night when it wasn't even crowded! The waitress kept coming over to us and apologizing (nice gesture) but our salads alone took over an hour to come to the table. I ordered the shrimp scampi, it was pretty good.
