For Hunters Crossing apartments in Wichita Falls, Tx. BEWARE CURRENT RESIDENTS AND FUTURE RESIDENTS!! We leased from Hunters Crossing for one year and everything was fine until we discovered mold in our AC ducts. The mold extended all the way through the ducting over 25 ft. Speaking on behalf of Calais Forest Apartements located in Little Rock, AR. If I could give no stars I absolutely would! I experienced flooding in my unit due to a loose hose in my washer. The washer is provided by the property. The washer flooded my entire kitchen and dining room area. Contacted emergency maintenance who then vacuumed the water and placed cooling fans to dry my carpet and walls. Needless to say it was been five days and my carpet is still “drying”. We regret that the washer leaked in your apartment. We understand your complaint and are sorry for any inconvenience. We contracted a local carpet cleaning company to extract the water and dry the carpet. Unfortunately, drying the carpet out is a process. We understand the terrible inconvenience of running the fans in an apartment but are given no choice as we could not remove the fans until the carpet was dry. This is to be aware to whom is reading this. The property Manager Raelynn Castle is a very nice lady. Let me say that 1st. But I noticed she cares more about looking good at the job than doing good. She isn't properly training the secretary. Chris obviously needs help around here. She was very rude to my grandson who admitted his fault and she continues to chastise him. Complaint about the Woodlands Apartments in Wichita Falls, TX This is by far one of the worst and poorly run apartment complexes I have ever heard of. I have had two separate apartments here, the first one was decent and the manager was very nice and helpful. However, whenever she quit/ was fired, things went downhill quickly. RENTER BEWARE!!! Calais Forest charged me fees after I moved out and after I was told by management that it was all taken care of and that I didn't owe them anything. The manager is no longer there so that was their latest excuse. I lived here for about 15 months and they had three different managers which I guess is how this excuse works. Company that will put you under pressure to sign a lease they take 150$ along with your 60$ credit check fee as a down payment on the lease, and give you only 48 hours to cancel it before you even been approved never go to this company for a lease you have been warned
Back in March, I contacted Calais Forest about a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. We worked with an agent named Ashle *****. We loved the apartment; however, in the end, it was too expensive for us. We called Ashle to let her know that we actually need to withdraw our application. She wished us well and told us that we would be out of the system within 24 hours. That was the end, so we thought. I got a call from Ashle a few days later but there was no voicemail left.
