I really loved it!!!!!! La chica que me corto el cabello se llama Sarah Fox !!! She did amazing!!!! She got the thing that I wanted!! Layers on layers !! I really love layers !! She reminds me my hairstylist from my country!! She was so nice !! Kind ! Very sweet!! Attentive with me !!

I went to Alexis to fix a poorly-done balayage and fashion color that a different salon had botched. Alexis gave me baby-highlights and the correct fashion color. It was beautiful walking out of the salon and four months later and my hair still looks beautiful! The highlights were so nicely blended that the roots growing out looks intentional and the color faded to a lovely pastel. Ruby’s salon is a warm, inviting environment with so many talented, positive hair artists/ stylists. Sofia is an actual hair wizard and nails my blonde look each time! She is so caring and knowledgeable, and also takes her time to make the vision come to life. Ruby, the owner, is very involved in each client’s hair journey making everyone feel so seen and heard in the salon. I thank God I found this place! Could not recommend The LABoratory a ruby devine salon more.

My stylist was Heather! I hadn't colored my hair in almost 7 months and I just wasn't feeling like myself. Heather listened to what I wanted, set realistic expectations about the price and process up front, provided me guidance on how to take care of my hair and keep it healthy moving forward, and was just overall a joy to be around. After years of hopping from stylist to stylist in the DMV, I finally found what I was looking for. I have been going to the Laboratory every 3/4 months for three years now for a haircut and for baby lights. Alexis always gets my vision- she listens, confirms, and works her magic to make sure I get what I want. The entire staff is friendly and attentive- they make sure all their guests have everything they need (coffee, water, snacks, etc.) if you are looking for a new salon, look no further 🫶🏼
