I didn't even want to give this place one star.... This place is gorgeous to eat dinner at but that's about it. The service is absolutely horrible! This is the fourth time that I have had terrible service here and I kept giving them chances to hope that next time was better and it's actually been worse. We waited an hour just to get our food and when we finally received our food our meals were barely warm! I attended my niece's wedding at Stokesay Castle on July 18th. Not only was the venue lovely, but the staff was unusually incredible! EVERYONE was helpful, friendly, accommodating, professional...they were the best! I was especially impressed with the social skills of everyone I met, and I did have one on one contact with several different employees. The food was also superb! I would recommend Stokesay Castle to anyone planning a special event! You would not be disappointed!
Gorgeous place, nice atmosphere and service, but food sucks
We love it here! We brought the kids and had a great early Father's Day dinner! Dessert was wonderful as well!
The atmosphere, service and food are top notch!! Hidden away in Reading and well worth the drive!!
The Mother's Day meal was awesome! It's great to see that Stokesay gets it by having a kid's buffet designed for smaller children and serve their favorite dishes. Bravo!!!
