My father was on the USS Buckeye (AN-13/YN-8), an Aloe-class net laying ship which was assigned to serve the U.S. Navy during World War II with her protective anti-submarine nets. It's very unlikely that The Knife Shop has any metal from the Buckeye, but I'll check...
Great ... my father was on the Texas during WW1 ... I will be contacting The Knife Shop for a knife .... I also spent 30 years in the U.S. Navy
