Archiac, uninspiring service, slow elevators, and bad room design. Amenities are lackluster.
Some aspects of this hotel are very good, others not so. The good: the location is brilliant if you want to be close to Times Square and the subway. Hotel check in was very efficient. The room was great. Large for NY and clean. Particularly loved the bathroom lighting and full length mirror which is great for getting ready. Most hotels fail in this regard and are often dark. From the very moment we arrived when Andre greeted us we immediately felt like we were home. He represents the face of the hotel , and is always so helpful . Maggie checked us in such a welcoming way, and our whole experience at this lovely historic hotel completed our anniversary trip to NYC !
