Horrible – Very disappointed with my Kitano experience and do not recommend them.
Definately not what I had anticipated – I booked a room at the Kitano for 6 nights, based on the review I read which ranked the Kitano 9.5 points. However, I checked out the day after I checked in. I definately was expecting better service, and value. The room was small, the furniture old and chipped. The linnen and couches had stains.
soundproof windows! – in nyc, soundproof windows are always a plus. There was no street noise even though we were just on the 4th floor. Room was very nice, marble bath, shisedio lotions and soaps, tea service in room. Bed was very comfortable with cushy pillows. Lights could be dimmed to make a nicer environment. High speed internet was $11 per night. They quickly removed telephone charges that were to busy numbers, we didn't even have to ask. Great value, nice location!
