The Kensington Hotel in Ann Arbor was perfect — cozy room, great location, and exceptional staff. William, Cade, Katie, and GM Daniel made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!
Tried to charge me for an incorrect booking (they created on their end without my permission). Thankfully, my bank did an investigation. Crooked management, visible black mold in bridal suite, broken sauna, and all around musty smelling rooms. Gross and I will never be back or recommend for any of my weddings clients, in fact, I'll warn them of this place specifically.
I was very pleased staying here for the one evening I had booked. Upon arrival, I was offered a complimentary glass of champagne. Check in was super smooth. Staff was super friendly and informative. The restaurant they have, Relish, had amazing food and service. I had the standard king room and it did not disappoint. After the last hotel I stayed in, I was just grateful this place had working AC, a TV, mini fridge/microwave, and SOAP. The room was clean and bed was big and comfy. Don't fall into this trap. It was parents weekend at UMICH, which means this place was charging upwards of $600 a night. The staff was courteous. The location is fine...just 2 miles south of campus. Apparently, they know they have plenty of customers regardless of the condition of their rooms. The hallways feel like a basement with 7-foot ceilings.
