Great place to walk or bike ride. Educational and even beautiful at night.
It was very calm there. There is informational walls. The music was native American sounding. There was trash in the water which made me sad to see people littering.
Cool statue. Ring of fire around the base of the statue lights up at 9:00 pm.
The city appears to have addressed many of the safety concerns mentioned in older reviews. During my evening visit in August 2025, the area was filled with families with children. There was a police presence in the parking lot on the Exploration Space side of the river so the cars are safe. If I had to nitpick, there was one irritating individual riding a bike who was loud and profane when talking to her friends but not a danger to anyone.
