The Kearney Center gave me a bed when I didn't have one. They feed you very good food especially when you take into consideration that it's free. The director and staff have gone out of their way to help me with a few things. They will help you if you try to get help. The staff is greatly overworked considering the number of people who utilize the center. This place saves lives everyday. I had to do community service here a few years ago for a petty charge (I was young and dumb & it's the only one I ever had and the staff treated me so terrible. Everybody is rude. I was 18 years old dealing with PTSD from sexual assault and every day that I came here was hell. I was constantly sexually harassed by other volunteers, some members of the staff and homeless people -- yet nobody did anything about it or cared. I don’t care what no one says again if you want to really prosper and get help This is the shelter for you but if you just wanna get comfortable and do not use the resources don’t blame nobody else but yourself

i think the kearney needs new staff.That man named skip threaten me and told me i was on his radar list all because surburban staff let me grill after he told me to throw my food away and prior to that a roomate came at me with a knife and i called him instead of the police department and all this maggot could say he was putting people out which she kept making threats saying she was going to stab me in my sleep but thanks to the surburban staff and priority security they removed her but she came back on the property trying ... read more

My first impression was nurse Octavia had no hospitality training whatsoever rude and very sarcastic. I am actually here to do a report about the workforce stay and I was not impressed by there hospitality. I am not sure if I want to return.I feel less if some nurses treat you different due to it being a dental office who helps low income families and patience the hospitality is not quite up to par as it should be versus going to coastal dental
