I’ve been living at The Julia for 6 months and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an apartment in Northeast Minneapolis. The units themselves are great - they are super sound proof (I haven’t had any issues hearing noise from neighbors), the large windows let in a ton of sunlight, and I’ve got a great view of Downtown / the Mississippi River. I absolutely loved my experience getting to tour this facility. I am currently looking to move to Minneapolis and this being one of my first apartment tours I was blown away! Special shoutout to our tour guide Will, he was incredible and really created a friendly and welcoming environment. I look forward to potentially living here.
Be aware of the policy for mounting TVs. If you use the building's maintenance team to install your TV for $150, you will not be charged later. However, if you install it yourself (like I did), you will be charged a $60 "damage fee" upon move-out for the same anchor holes their handyman would have made. This policy was not disclosed at move-in. To avoid this surprise fee, either pay for their installation service or get written confirmation that self-installation won't be penalized.
We absolutely love living at The Julia. The team is amazing. The community is well maintained and peaceful. Troy from the maintenance team is incredible. He’s always personable, patient, and takes care of any maintenance requests quickly and efficiently. Alex is also fantastic. While apartment searching for my first one-bedroom apartment, The communication from the leasing agent, Will, was spectacular. I toured the three buildings with my family initially looking only at Lucille. After getting a detailed overview of the buildings and their individual amenities, I was given specific unit options for my move-in date and budget. The whole process was very seamless, Will was incredibly knowledgable of every building and the overall experience is what led to me submitting my application at The Julia!
