I can't say enough good things about the journey home. They helped us when we didn't know what too do. Everybody there is awesome, the girl with the glasses and tattoos on her arms is absolutely amazing! As well as the woman that stays there when she comes there too work! There was also a woman always walking around cleaning and she was a awesome person as well. Unfortunately I didn't get any of there names but hopefully these experiences can place a name on them. I can't say enough good things about the staff and support here. The staff genuinely care about not just the patient but the patients family that are there with them! They do everything in their power to help make a hard time a little easier. They are angels that are truly a blessing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for my father and I, I couldn't have gotten thru it without you!
This place was such a blessing to our family. Our father was only there for a short time but the facility and staff were the absolute best and all operating as a nonprofit.
When my dad's health began to decline, our family was faced with one of the most difficult decisions we've ever had to make. From the moment we walked through the doors of The Journey Home, we knew we had found a place of peace, compassion, and true care. This home was amazing! They were all so kind & always here for us. They were very thorough with the family and the patient. They opened up the entire facility for the family and very private for the family as well. Trish was the nurse we bonded with the most & I wish I could have her as a friend for life. We will always do what we can to help Journey. Anyone that gets to be in the facility is a lucky person & family.
