My wife, Stephanie, spent here final days at The Journey Home and we could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was professional, caring and courteous at all times. Everyone was treated like family and they did their very best to meet all of our needs, whether it was food, conversation, or just hugging us while we cried. I highly recommend The Journey Home to anyone whose loved ones are in their final days. We are very blessed to have this facility in our area.
What a blessing it was for our family to have Dad cared for in such a loving peaceful way, in a homey atmosphere, clean and beautiful place. Making not only Dad comfortable, but making us feel at home. I can’t say enough about the volunteers there. God bless them !
The staff provided my mother with care during her last few days with us. They were amazing and extremely caring and considerate, not only with my mom, but with all of the family that spent her last bit of time there with her. The room was comfortable and quiet, and they had lots of food and drink options available for the family gathered. Their care allowed us to spend time with her during her final days without worrying about anything else and focus on her.
I can't say enough good things about the journey home. They helped us when we didn't know what too do. Everybody there is awesome, the girl with the glasses and tattoos on her arms is absolutely amazing! As well as the woman that stays there when she comes there too work! There was also a woman always walking around cleaning and she was a awesome person as well. Unfortunately I didn't get any of there names but hopefully these experiences can place a name on them. I can't say enough good things about the staff and support here. The staff genuinely care about not just the patient but the patients family that are there with them! They do everything in their power to help make a hard time a little easier. They are angels that are truly a blessing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for my father and I, I couldn't have gotten thru it without you!
