I’m very happy with my total knee replacement by Dr Rowell. Not only is he a very good surgeon but he’s highly professional and genuinely caring and compassionate.
I was very unhappy with my appointment and outcome. Having had pain for over a year and still not to be told it’s not the tumour that’s causing my pain and wouldn’t be removing it even though it’s 8cm in length! Just get another MRI in a year to see if it’s grown! Not good enough. “If it was on your leg or arm, I’d be in and out in 20 mins and it would be my kids school fees for the year” is not what a patient needs to hear when you’ve been putting up with pain for a year!
I was under the care of the public health system after a serious accident and was unclear on my future due to the many doctors I was seeing, some of them with conflicting advice. I booked in privately to see Dr Rowell to get his specialist opinion on my current situation and his opinion on what my future expectations should be and am so pleased that I did. Great doctor who saved my life removing a tumour from my leg. Straight forward guy tells is like it is.
Found him very unhelpful, didn't care too much. Wasted my time
