The sushi restaurant we frequently go to is closed on Mondays, so we decided to try The Joint. There was plenty of free parking. They had outside tables with heaters. There were a handful of customers that night. We sat inside and ordered spicy edamame, a cup of miso, salmon nigiri, the Lemon Basil Salmon role, the MaryJane roll, and hot sake. My wife and I enjoyed our experience here. We started with drinks, I had an HI Mai Tai and she a mocktail. The Mai Tai was excellent and strong. I was surprised at the number of mocktail options they had on the menu. We had the salmon sashimi, granny and train wreck rolls, truffle fries, and Tokyo shrimp. The train wreck roll was my favorite. Great experience! Food was delicious and came super quickly. We had a bunch of small plates to share (5, which was a little more than enough for 2 people). Everything was good, but the standout for us was the pork belly tapas. Service was great, and very friendly as well. So, this is a great spot for some dinner after watching the sunset on the beach for sure.
My only suggestion would be to lower the music. It is too loud for my ears and it makes it difficult to have a conversation when you come with people. Other than that, I enjoy the food, service and atmosphere very much!
This spot is great! The food the atmosphere and the service was great. This is a great spot near the wall which is great for free parking and a nice walk. This spot has great sushi and a better happy hr menu that last longer than you.
