This hotel charges premium rates, and before committing to it I think there are a few things you should know. 1) The minimalist aesthetic they have going on in the rooms is not for everyone. Expect everything to be beige or monotone in color, with not a single colorful artwork in sight. They've put most of their design focus into furniture with curved shapes, and while it creates a mood of coziness, I found it *too* cozy. The soap. Change the soap. You come out smelling like a cigar shop. Other than that, the rooms are clean, great, well appointed! Staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend, caveat BYOS!

I'm a stickler for details. Yes, the room was nice and modern looking but taking a closer look, there were some issues. For example, the bathroom door handle, of the barn style sliding door, was loose and wobbly. That style of door for a hotel bathroom in general is too open and porous with noise. There needs to be more attention to respect and privacy of bathroom use in a hotel room. The basic tenet of respect is to limit the noise for those in and out of the bathroom.
