Great neighborhood spot for casual dining. The specials are great and the menu has lots of options for salads, burgers, pasta, etc. Our waitress provided excellent, friendly service.
I got the beef and lamb burger. It was great! Like shepherd's pie but burger form. Sounded intriguing and was definitely worth it. We got wings for an appetizer and were perhaps the best wings in Buffalo. The center wasn't dry and they weren't too crispy. Sauce was great (though extra on the side is always nice for dipping). Even though it's a bar/restaurant families could easily feel comfortable. Seating in booths was wooden benches though, a little uncomfortable. I will definitely be back!
A crock of French Onion soup, a flat iron steak with blue cheese, garlic mashed potatoes and a veggie for $20.00. Great deal and delicious!
My wife Karen and I and some outstanding frends went to the Jake for dinner last night. Fish frys were THE BEST EVER! We all enjoyed the JAKE and recommend it as Kenmore's best!! We love the Jake so much that we returned to tonight for barbecue wings on the grill with my son and his girlfriend after the college basketball doubleheader at the Key Center Arena. The wings are WNY'S BEST just like their fish fry!!! To die for!
What a fun place to watch The Bills! Atmosphere was light, loved the food & the staff all seem wonderful! Will definitely be back.
We live right in Kenmore and finally tried it out. Brought our son who was in because he had to evacuate Parris Island. Food was good...atmosphere was very comfortable!!! Employees were absolutely wonderful!!! I would agree on some cushions for the benches though!
Finally got there for dinner Sunday. Food was great! Loved the stuffed banana peppers! My husband had the banana pepper pasta & loved it! Can't wait to go back!
