Always have loved my time spent at the Landing. Love the waters, the food, the entertainments, the music and people.
It needs to have more places that serve food that are well known.
If you're into shady run down shops with a flea market feel to it then it's the best place to be. It looks and sounds great until you walk in. A few of the people that were working are really nice but other than that nothing. Best thing had to be the benches looking at the water and bridges!

Every experience at the Landing turns out to be good or just excellent. Yesterday, my visit to the landing was great as I had lunch in the Landing area. I always see a change but when you have competitive areas there will be change with the pitfalls and the successes. But, if they close the landing, where would people go for good food and good socialable times? Support the Jacksonville, Landing. And it is a very good networking area for business associates.
Jacksonville is home sweet home for me, even though this is my first time back in years. I bought my family here because of childhood memories and to show them my city. Not as full as I remembered... Hope next time we return there are more shops open and more lively.
