This review is for the Dunleith Hotel in Natchez Mississippi. We arrived at the hotel after 3 o’clock and tried to check in as did several other customers at the time. We were told none of the rooms were ready and would not be ready until exactly 4 o’clock. Considering there were no cars anywhere to be found all of us assumed there was no one even staying at the hotel at that time, but we all sat patiently waiting in the parking lot till precisely 4 o’clock. This review is about the condition and my experience at the Dauphine Hotel. I stayed at the Dauphine hotel owned by The J Collection on February 16-18th 2026. I booked the Hermann house suite, as I walked to my room 240 I noticed large rat traps in the courtyard and I very strong smell of urine. Upon arriving in my room I noticed that the carbon monoxide detector was ripped out of the wall. There was mold on the bathroom mirror and an exposed broken and dirty cabinet. This hotel is a fraud- from misrepresentation to out of service phone numbers and ZERO response to emails. They advertise all of these incredible amenities which, you pay full price for and upon arrival they say sorry- we can’t manage to staff our hotel properly and then when you try to get a price adjustment since none of the amenities you booked and paid for are available you can’t reach anyone.
