My husband and I just stayed here and had a fantastic time! We were nervous based on other reviews we read, but didn’t come across any issues. We didn’t experience the “paper thin walls” we were in a middle room and never heard people on either side of us. We loved being able to walk out to the beach, and having a clean pool to swim in as well. Breakfast was complimentary each morning which is hard to find these days! Plenty of parking! What a Gem!! It was the perfect little room, easy coming and going beautiful.Beach access and I loved the location on the beach.There is a big sandbar that when the tide goes out, the sandbar EMERGES there and there's a big pool right in between the beach and the sandbar That is just priceless! It's great local restaurants, Sharky's and Jinks ( upstairs) are the BEST for outdoor eating & Views!! We will definitely do revisiting!
Location is great. However, amenities are lacking. The breakfast area is super tiny and they do not allow guests to take their breakfast outside the dining room. Been going for here for over a decade. Sadly the cleanliness has decreased. The towels are not absorbent at all and the bedding is literally just two sheets. Probably will look elsewhere next time we go to OIB. Everything feels and looks run down and old. The first thing that happened was putting my reservation on a virtual card. Virtual meaning not in my hands or on my person upon check-in. Don't do that, they need a physical card to prove it's you. I booked the room in February and completely forgot I did it with a virtual card. Not about to argue about it, I simply asked if we were going to be allowed to stay here.
