Absolutely ridiculous, if I'm on time and I don't get seen for twenty minutes no big deal. If I get stuck in traffic because of an accident and am 12 minutes late instead of ten I have to completely reschedule an appointment for my daughter that I've had scheduled for a month. Basically, screw you and your time and whatever is wrong with your daughter, we can't be bothered because you're a minute or two to late. I even called ahead and let them know.
You truly are just a number to them. I went to schedule an appointment. Next closest one is 2 weeks out. All good, they’re busy people. DAY BEFORE my appointment I get told I need to reschedule. Next one is another 2 weeks out. I explained that I needed to be seen two weeks ago, as I am having some serious issues. The receptionist responded rudely. I've been a patient with Dr Nicholson for almost 15 years. Started new job an work conflicted with my appointment times I had to cancel. I never knew nor was let known that for canceling i would lose my Doctor for over a decade over a stupid policy. Apparently $$ is more important to Iowa clinic than services 🙄.
