The price is high but the food is fantastic!
This place is an amazing gem. Steaks and sides are fantastic, prices are reasonable, service was great, and it is wrapped in an informal but comfortable atmosphere. Definitely recommend and will return.
I travel for work and because of my gluten allergy, I eat at a ton of steakhouses. My 14 oz. ribeye was cooked medium-rare to perfection. Easy to cut and melted in my mouth. The garlic whipped potatoes (sides are ordered ala carte with a steak) were delicious. My ribeye was only $34, and my rosé was $8. In this economy (August 2025), those are deals. The restaurant was nice, clean, cool, and quiet. If that, and an affordably priced menu, are your vibe, look no further than the Iowa Chop House.
