Get directionsMy #1 motivation working at The InterMed Group is feeling empowered to drive change. + I receiving the right amount of encouragement, freedom, and the necessary resources to build up my department. + Few places value transparency and direct communication higher. While dealing with constructive feedback and having to sell and defend your ideas against critical views can be a challenge at times, having these skills can be essential for any successful career.
The InterMed Group has provided me with invaluable professional and personal development. Their focus on quality service in the healthcare technology management space is shown in our customers’ satisfaction with our engineers and technicians. Whether as a potential customer or employee, this company has a focus on providing value to people.
It seems really strange to me that one of InterMed's board of directors is the CEO of Elior, a foodservice company that continues to put their profits over patient health by serving poor-quality, disease-promoting foods in the very places where InterMed does business. InterMed needs to address this conflict of interest right away.
While InterMed supplies technology services for healthcare facilities, Elior CEO Brian Poplin, a Director of the board at Intermed, allows disease-causing foods to be served in hospitals and senior care communities every day. Poor nutrition doesn’t belong in places where patients are trying to heal and recover. Address this conflict of interest now!

High-quality nutrition is the cornerstone of good health and health care. You can't serve processed meat and junk food to health care patients and expect the best possible outcomes no matter how good the doctors are or how advanced the medical technology is.
nterMed allows Dr. Brian Poplin, CEO of food service giant Elior North America, to serve as a Director of its board. Elior continues to allow far too many disease-promoting foods in over 1300 hospitals, senior care facilities, schools and universities. InterMed, a company responsible for promoting patient health, should address this conflict of interest immediately.
