Solar final Inspection was a list of things by the Inspector about what we should have done or could have done in our house. He was a grumpy, rude, bully that spent more time complaining about electrical work that had been previosly passed by an inspector from his team than checking on what had been installed by the solar company. If you can have anyone but IG come in to do the inspection, do so, incase you get this inspector. Who shall remain unnamed!
Taking forever for the permit to get released. Probably waiting for Christmas next year.
I have no idea whether they are decent inspectors, but I’m going to suggest provably not. Driving down highway 23 into Lethbridge, the speed limit is 100. I was going 112, and this guy passes me at about 130, and continues to speed that fast down the highway. With that kind of driving attitude, I’m going to suggest a cocky bugger behind the wheel. Based on their 3.3 Google rating, it kind of tells who what they’re about.
Terrible!!! Electrical inspectors here are unaccommodating, don’t know code, lazy, cash grabbing, just looking to fail any inspection so they can make a return trip and cost you a couple hundred more dollars. Rumor has it they get commissions for the inspections they fail. I Honestly can’t wait for the day to come when the City of Edmonton finally boots your asses to the curb for the continuous incompetence and corruption from your organization.
