The CBTI course (online) was unorganized and instructor was impatient with participants. The workbook is too short and does not contain most of the information. Information was included on slides (over 100) that are cumbersome to look through. 4 hour online course for those suffering from insomnia is too long for one setting. I found The Insomnia Clinic’s CBT-I insomnia workshop to be incredibly insightful and the first real step in my battle against sleep disorders (insomnia and sleep apnea). After the workshop I have a much better understanding about how my sleep situation got to this point. Dr. Okun and Dr. Glidewell certainly know their stuff when it comes to sleep related issues. After attending the online workshop I feel a lot more equipped with the knowledge and tools to help overcome this.

Great information! Setting up plan to meet your situation is a great help. It is not a sleeping pill , but following the process will help meet your goals. It will take time , so don't expect over night success.

Working with the Insomnia Clinic ended up being a life-changing experience. Dr. Glidewell works hard to keep this accessible to everyone from his book (I found the book very helpful) to the 4 hour workshop and the more in depth 1-on-1 sessions. The "treatment" isn't exciting or revolutionary, but it is wonderful to work with an expert who can help remove impediments to good sleep, help you understand your body, and help you troubleshoot problems.

My one-on-one experience with Dr. Glidewell has helped to greatly change my sleep patterns as well as my anxiety about them. He identified a circadian rhythm sleep disorder and guided me through using tools to address it. He also supported learning and practicing meditation daily which has helped change my life outlook as well as calmed anxieties about sleep. I feel rested in the mornings! All of our meetings were online which worked well as I live about an hour away from his office. I highly recommend Dr. Glidewell’s practi... read more
