A wonderful get away. Such a wonderful place. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. Every one is so helpful and friendly!!!! Ask for Marcia at breakfast. So sweet and took care of us every day. Loved it. If your gonna eat here make reservations in advance. Food is wonderful but restaurant fills up fast. Breakfast has “hands down “ the BEST grits I have ever had.

Loved our getaway to Blowing Rock. The staff was always pleasant and helpful, even remembered your name throughout the stay. Clean room, excellent food. Privacy and comfort were my requirements and they met those and exceeded our expectations!

My husband and I are from Durham. We are used to excellent food from restaurants. We read Yelp reviews on this place before making our reservation. I do not know how this restaurant could ever receive 5 stars. I give it 2 at the most. My cucumber Pimm’s cocktail was awful. The trout was not fresh. My husband’s scallops were tough. He didn’t even finish them. He questioned whether they were really scallops. If you are looking for a great meal in Blowing Rock, this is not the place. Our server, however, was excellent.

Always a wonderful evening with excellent food and service! A special thanks for supporting Watauga Humane Society’s SNIPS on June 22, donating 10% of proceeds to support low cost spay/neuter to High Country pets!
