Despite the reviews which did have us a littleee worried, we had an amazing experience, the staff was so helpful and informative about things to do in the area being this was our first time in Detroit. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the best part was we were able to walk to LCA. Parking was $26.50 for overnight gated parking which is common for downtown parking so no complaints from us. Would definitely recommend experiencing The Inn for yourself!

Update: it's been five days and no one has responded to confirm my cancellation. Unprofessional and weird. I'm not sure if this place is even open anymore. I made a reservation online. then I sent an email to confirm parking. No response. I called to move my reservation. No answer during office hours. No recorded message identifying it as Winder. So then I called back to cancel. ALSO sent an email to cancel. Hopefully, there will not be a problem.

Beware ! My husband & I were celebrating an anniversary. We were assigned room 21. There's black mold on the ceiling and the floor is a trip hazard! The bed was so uncomfortable, we left at 11:30 pm so we could get some sleep at home. They would not do anything to compensate us for not being able to sleep!! The staff service was **awful**, with unfriendly attitudes!!

Overall frustrating experience. The Inn is beautiful and has an antique vibe. The location is great for walking distance from sports games, concerts, and going out to eat. Upon arrival and checking in after 4 our room was not ready. We were not able to get into our room until after 5. While trying to hurry and get ready for our dinner reservations, the power went out. The air conditioning in the building did not work very well and the beds were not comfortable. Very disappointing especially for the price that we paid to stay... read more
