As a theatre nerd and an R&B lover, I was so excited to experience R&B Night at the Ideal Theatre. You can still see and feel the building's rich history, while the updates add a touch of class. From the beautiful venue and welcoming atmosphere to the great drinks, excellent service, and incredible music, everything came together for a fantastic night. I can't wait to come back!
The Ideal theater & bar was absolutely phenomenal place to see Gunshine, or any act. Great acoustics and a extremely cozy atmosphere, there is not a bad seat in the house. The owner came over and introduced herself and was super cool, we had a shot together. The staff was knowledgeable and smiling. A great venue to see movies, music, or whatever entertainment they are providing a true gem in the new bo district. Fantastic venue and bar. The staff is great, friendly, professional, and on point! On the music side, the sound is great, the space is plenty, and the vibes are perfect. I’d come here all the time if I lived in the area!!
Went to see a show that had been pretty heavily advertised. Bought a ticket ($25) and they said the artist was going on at 9. Came back at 9, ordered a glass of wine $20 (they said it was a double pour, but definitely wasn't). Sat around waiting. Finished my wine, so I got a beer instead ($10). Sat around waiting some more. (There was a DJ playing which wasn't terrible). Ordered another beer ($10).
