This dudes a real one. The medical system in America has made an enemy out of me. But I gotta say, if it weren’t for Dr. C and his interdisciplinary, research informed (by his own btw), and sustainable approach to treatment — I genuinely don’t want to know where I would be. Doc and I had our differences. Miscommunications, rushed appointments, feeling like I had to do a bulk of the research on my own, different diagnosis. Not good for CCI. Possibly good for other EDS-related issues. I went to see Dr. Courseault because I was having severe neurological issues that seemed to be related to instability in my neck. When I saw him I was in a wheelchair and I could not remove my neck brace without getting close to fainting and triggering a pseudoseizure.
