I was adventurous and tried the Elk burger. I would come back just for that. There was no wait during dinner which was off-putting but I guess we just got lucky. Fastfood timing on fancy restaurant quality.

The food was delicious. My husband had the game sausage trio of rabbit, duck, and pheasant sausage. He raved about it all weekend. We tried to go back for dinner the next night but they close early. The atmosphere would have been better but there was a large family with squealing kids running around disturbing everyone.

The Huntsman has great service, amazing food. Game meat. We had the trio sausage, gravy, grits and broccoli. Had a colossal salad and clam chowder. All great portions. One of the best meals we've had out in a long time. Our waitress was great. You can tell she enjoyed her job. I thank her for a great experience. The host that sat us at our table was very cherry and friendly.
