About this business
With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

Great beverage options and I like that they serve hot food options. Staff is very kind and quick. Their bright energy is super delicious.
Since discovering The Human Bean on Pat Booker, it’s been my go to for a quick snack in the morning and a Bright energy to kick start my day or give me that afternoon pick me up! The staff is always fantastic and the chocolate covered espresso bean on top is an excellent and delicious touch! I am a geek when it comes to energy blends, they’re by far my favorite place for them yet! Go with any flavor, you can’t miss.
I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while and I’m glad I finally did! The customer service was phenomenal. I got the Mexi and I’m very picky with my drinks but this was delicious!
Love this place! I am not one to use drive thru often, so I usually walk up to the window. Even if there are people at the drive up, I am always greeted very quickly at the window, not ignored like some places. Food is always great and hot. People working here are all fantastic. Always polite and genuinely happy to serve their customers. Highly recommend!
