With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

I ordered the new electric berry drink and it came out alright, but the customer service was quite bad. Everyone there was chatting and making conversation, rather than the drinks. Then when I had received my drink (watered down) after a bit of waiting the girl just shoved it in my car window insinuating that I HAVE BEEN THE ONE TAKING MY SWEET TIME. No customer should receive any dirty looks when paying. I usually don’t leave reviews but this was ridiculously rude.
We go this human bean frequently. Today was a horrible experience and will not be returning to this location. Ordered 2 drinks and they had them so messed up by the time got to window we have no idea what we got. Ordered a peppermint snowy mocha which had no flavor of peppermint just strong coffee. The coconut one had a little flavor but not like the ones we have gotten in the past. Loved our baristas today. We get more complicated drinks and they took our orders so kindly. The drinks were absolutely perfect and so was the service.
Best 32oz javachip granita with coffee ever!!!🪐🩹 Hope to go back for another one soon. I am about 1.5hrs away...call me crazy! lol
Quick, efficient, used the drive thru. My bagel was warm, but I got a spoon instead of a knife for my cream cheese. The coffee was perfect!!
