About this business
With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

The service was fast, the employee was very friendly, and the chocolate espresso beans were good. My drink, however, was good at the sip then quickly followed by a weird aftertaste. I took a few more sips to see if I could figure it out, and finally did: It tastes like chocolate liqueur or chocolate wine. It was awful, unless you like those flavors. I do not, and was also a bit concerned about what made it taste that way. I threw the rest away. (It was a blended chocolate macadamia nut.)
I love the vanilla latte, my boyfriend gets the special German chocolate mocha. This is our go to place for a morning coffee if it’s not at home. I love my HB shirt too!!
Very helpful and delicious! A bit on the sweet side, but love the service.
