New to the area, I've been looking for a new place and stylist for my hair - Valerie was absolutely amazing. She gave me exactly what I had asked for and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Both haircut and beard look amazing, thank you, can't wait for my next appointment!

Excellent service. Got lucky and got a chair without a wait. Valerie, I believe, took great care with my hair. Price was very good for the amount of time and care she put into it. Every time I come to Rockaway, I will come here for a haircut, even if I don't need one! Too bad I don't have a House of Fades near me. 10/10 all round.

I made an appointment for a shape up and I got there on time, but I was told to wait about 10 minutes. I just walked out. What is the point of making an appointment if i have to wait? I have places to be. Get your shit together.

Constructive Feedback: I noticed a few areas that could use improvement during my visit. There appears to be a new barber who may not yet be fully proficient with blade techniques or cleaning equipment in accordance with health department standards. Additionally, there were challenges with creating clean lines and leveling the hairline. While I understand everyone starts somewhere, I believe more practice is necessary before charging $50 for a haircut, especially when the result requires corrections at home.
