I had such a great experience with Daniel C. at The Hot Tub Store! I had to cancel my orientation appointment at the last minute yesterday due to an unexpected delay with my electrical installation, and Daniel was kind enough to fit me back into his schedule today. I am extremely frustrated that I was required to pay a $249.00 service appointment fee to have a technician inspect my hot tub. The service technician confirmed that the jet pump motor had failed and verified that the replacement jet pump motor is covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Given that the failure was determined to be a warranty-covered defect, I do not believe I should be responsible for the diagnostic service charge. Called on a weekend just to get some pricing and ended up talking to Greg the owner. From the first conversation until months after the delivery of my hot tub I have had nothing but excellent service and excellent experience. The company has multiple people that are there when I text with questions. They have a wonderful concierge service that helps you learn about how to care for your hot tub once it's installed. Not happy with leak repair. I have had their service department tech out three times. He is a nice fellow and seems competent but each time he says he has found the leak, replaces a fitting and then leaves and I find the leak is the same as before. The last time I was charged $500 and the leak is worse than before. When I contacted the service department they were not interested in customer service and were unwilling to take another look at it (on their dime) but only wanted to sell an expensive removal and repair in their s... read more
