This review is solely based on my experience tonight and not from previous visits. All the nurses were wonderful. My son was seen by a resident and was given a treatment plan then the doctor was never seen again. The nurses checked up on my son in the meantime. Fast forward 5 hours later, another doctor came in to present us with discharge papers and told us come back when the symptoms that are listed are present. I don't know why they have rated worlds best children hospital, I know this country's medical system is horrible but this hospital is way too pathetic, 12hours in emergency can you believe it, 12hours wooooow
We simply gave up to be seen by a doctor and just left. Toddlers and kids don't have patience waiting for hours. Ridiculous!!!!
You could fly to a different country and get a Dr. quicker. Even if you are one of 3 people in the whole ER, it will still take hours for them to see you. And even after you have been seen, it will take an hour or more just to get your discharge papers. But you are getting the best care, right!? Well, if being sent home with "probably a virus" that was actually a really bad pneumonia is the best care, then YES!
