My mother started hospice in January, 2025. In the beginning, things went pretty well. There were some annoying things like getting inundated with calls by hospice staff, mostly to talk about themselves and their expertise which was unnecessary and a bit insensitive as the daughter. But things went fairly well with her regular nurse coming weekly. Then in March, 2025 my mom fell and broke her hip at her assisted living facility. I needed some questions answered and my angels led me to Deanna, Patient Care Manager. My husband and I have had at least half a dozen negative experiences with medical personnel in Santa Fe.
