Bomb gumbo. Strongest drinks in town. 😋One of my favorite places.
The bartender helped me to locate a person who lost their ID by letting me use their internet. A customer gave me a nice gift.. I have loved playing the jukebox and pool there :)
This used to be one of my favorite bars in Eugene until tonight. I have never experienced such a rude and disrespectful encounter at ANY bar I have been to in this town. Went in on a Sunday night to eat some food (bought no alcohol what so ever) and my friends and I who tipped well and were completely respectful, quiet and curious were kicked out because my friend felt sick briefly and safely in the restroom. Great place. Had bad opinions previously and I do apologize, but solid people and drinks!
You will not find better or more supportive people at any other bar/patio. Drama erupts anywhere people drink, but there are not better bartenders, or patrons, to help you out in those cases than at Horsehead. Top notch "dive". Wouldn't change a thing (except I wish the beautiful, finger painted Jesus in the ladies restroom had not been washed off). �
