Great little spot for pub food. Equipped with game table and pool. Friendly service and timely even though place was hoping on Saturday night.
I have lived down the street from Hopewell for three years and have given this place more chances than I should have. The food has always been pretty mediocre and overpriced, so recently I’ve only tried coming in for drinks. If you're looking for an Allston bar with great food and a nostalgic vibe, Hopewell is the spot. They have daily specials-half-off chicken sandwich Wednesdays is my favorite. With a full bar and kitchen that is open until 12ish, it is the perfect spot for an after class meal or food with friends even late.
