I went in for a checkup on warranty work on my Honda Odyssey because of a letter I received from Honda on a specific item that they were covering. I wasn't told that if they discovered that my vehicle wasn't considered to have this exact issue ( which my vehicle had been showing the signs of puffing when turning off, no power when pushing gas and what sounds like a miss and a knock) and wasnt covered under the warranty that I would have a charge of $185 for a diagnostic fee. Cochran Honda diagnosed by recent car problem as an oil pressure switch that had to be replaced. They were going to charge me $641 for parts and labor. I asked a relative, who knows a lot about cars, to take a look at the problem. He bought the replacement switch for $49 and replaced it in less than 30 minutes! If I could give less than zero stars, I would.My mother has been a customer of ********************** in **********************, ** since December of 1989. She has purchased every Honda she has owned from there. It wasnt until it became #1Cochran that things went down hill. From service to sales. The last few cars she has purchased have been leases.
