RecommendedMy mother was in the skilled unit for seven months before passing in September 2018. She loved the facility, caring staff and food most of all. The home and family atmosphere was most attractive in our decision to place her there. Words can not describe how well she was cared for and loved at The Homeplace. I know I will never forget each and every staff member whom cared for my precious mother. Wonderful facility from top to bottom and my professional career is in healthcare.
My mother recently passed after spending the last two years at The Homeplace at Midway. She spent her last month in skilled care, and prior to that memory care. The staff cared for Mom with dignity and treated her like family during her entire stay. Dad would go visit her each night, and the he was always warmly welcomed by the staff. One of my good friends kept telling me about the care her mother was receiving and how her health had actually improved since she arrived at The Homeplace at Midway, I finally had to see it for myself and took a tour. I'm amazed at the care and compassion provided by the staff and I can now understand the sense of ease, contentment and calm satisfaction that my friend feels about the care her mother receives. I'm proud to know that this is in Kentucky!
My wife is a resident at Homeplace and I can't say enough good things about her care. The staff is wonderful and compassionate and take such great care of her. I have such peace of mind knowing she is so loved and care for.
My grandmother is a resident at Homeplace, she can be very challenging but they take wonderful care of her like she was family. Homeplace at Midway is a very unique long term care home. It is like its own little community, the facilities are set up just like a home. It doesn't feel like a "nursing home" it is very homey and inviting. Unfortunately some times our loved ones require more around the clock care than we can provide for them at home. I don't think there is a better facility out there than homeplace.
The Homeplace at Midway is a wonderful facility. The employees there are very caring, not only for the residents but for their families as well. I have visited many times and have always been impressed with the calm environment. Thank you, Homeplace, for caring for my very good friend!
