The inspector RJ misidentified an exhaust fan vent pipe and cover as a dryer vent pipe . Noting this coil pipe as a “ safety concern”, I literally had to lower the negotiated price for the buyers for a repair that we discovered was not needed. The required correct rigid dryer vent pipe was only about 15 feet away from the exhaust fans, but went unnoticed by the inspector. By the time we noticed his glaring mistake, our money was gone.
