Home Depot S Attleboro MA needs to hire more help. While they're at it make sure the hired help really wants to help. I wanted to order new carpet for my house. Wow what a painful experience. I ordered and went back to make some changes. No one at the desk the first day. Waited and finally left. Went another day and finally found someone in one of the aisles and asked if they were in flooring. "Yes I'll be with you in a minute" Ten minutes later I went looking for them and they were gone. Went to buy wood and have cut for project. Both saws down and got no help.
I went to the do it yourself free class and Sean did great! I'll definitely come again next month for the next free workshop. The only thing I'd say is I would have bought all the materials to do this at home if they had a kit already made for the project we did or if they offered some kind of discounts for those who attended the workshop
Last night we went to the store with a long list of items. Shane Russell was covering for the lumber department while an employee was on break. He covered two departments and phones, assisted other customers. He helped for over two hours collecting our huge list of items and checked us out. When needing to help another customer, he immediately came back and continued to help load our cart. He stayed to finish the transaction past his work hours. He is an awesome employee committed to the customers.

The customer service at this Home Depot is the worst. I have been here multiple times in the last few weeks to make large purchases for my new home and the service was worse every time. Many employees have no interest in helping the customer and are very uneducated on the products sold. I give you two stars and not one because Melissa in the kitchen department is amazing. If everyone were an employee like her, this would be a better store.
