7/2026 Still convenient and has everything you need. Alwakawa location. Really nowhere else to go for the big stuff. I do like making the quicker stop to the neighborhood City Mill or Ace Hardware, but for the big bang bargains, they're really it. Lowe's really is a step behind. Always a little crowded but be patient. Parking always opens up. Went for a couple 1.5 cubic bags of garden soil, all under $20. Asking questions and checkout is always pretty informative and fast too
Stupid set up for check out. Why do we need to salespeople to Scan? And then when it was time to pay, they step aside. What!? Not value add. When I was browsing in the plumbing section, I looked around for sales people for help. Two of them stayed in the corner chatting and tried to avoid eye contact with me. I went online to browse Home Depot website and got the isle and bay for my item. Again, not value add.
Mapunapuna site is much nicer and less crowded.
